Astrology as a practice of attention.
I'm Zen Lara — a queer astrologer, community organizer, and software builder based in Atlanta. I read natal charts, transits, and the sky's long conversation with your life.

Astrology, for me, is a practice of noticing — not prediction. The planets don't decide anything; they describe the conditions we're already moving through. A reading is a conversation about those conditions: what's pressing, what's available, what takes time.
I work from a queer and feminist framework. That means I'm interested in how power, history, and embodied experience shape what a chart can say. I draw on traditional technique — whole-sign houses, essential dignities, the full classical vocabulary — and read it through a contemporary, liberatory lens.
I'm not interested in telling you who you are. I'm interested in helping you think about it more carefully.

Astrocartography Reading
Where in the world does your chart come alive? Astrocartography maps your planetary lines across geography — AC, DC, MC, and IC — so you can understand what different places activate in your chart and why some feel more like home than others.
Book a readingAstrology research community in Atlanta
Beyond one-on-one sessions, I organize learning spaces in Atlanta for people who want to study astrology seriously — not as quick-hit content, but as a practice that rewards patience and rigor.
These are reading groups, research circles, and practice sessions. The goal is to build a local community of people engaged with astrology as real inquiry — into history, into technique, into the question of what it even means to read a chart.
